About Phil S Addis

Phil S Addis Phil S Addis (Photography BIO) has gained notoriety the past few years, photographing the lovely Coulee region. He has had and is currently exhibiting his work in multiple locations at a time, including Turtle Stack Brewery, 608 Brewery, Main Branch Public Library, Holmen Meat Locker. Recently, Phil was guest photographer at The Norskadalen Four Season’s luncheon at UWL. In January he has been asked to have an exhibit at the new La Crosse County Administrative Center in La Crosse. He has won over 300 international awards for his photo compositions at both GuruShots and ViewBug. His work was recently published in a magazine in Bantry, Ireland. Phil is a volunteer photographer for The La Crosse County Historical Society, Mississippi Valley Conservancy, & The US Fish & Wildlife. His photos have been featured in l.i.n.k. Magazine and others. He was the grand prize winner in the first LADCO photo contest, and first place winner for the city of La Crescent. WalzCraft of Winona, MN has his work featured on the homepage of their website. His photo, “Morning Calm" which was taken at Pettibone Park in La Crosse, WI; was submitted to The Nature Conservancy international photo contest. It was selected in the landscape category and has been published. He recently won “The Green Light Literary Journal” contest and has a photo on their homepage along with several of his pictures throughout the website. Most recently he has had two of his pictures selected for “Visit Bluff Country” magazine; which covers a four state area. And his bridges are being used for the homepage on Facebook and their website. Phil was also asked to submit his art to the annual Art Dash for the Spirituality Center in the Cargill Room, at The Waterfront In La Crosse. He is also supplying some of his pictures to the new La Crescent Area Event Center and Hotel. He has a number of other accolades which has been brought to attention by his careful eye. Phil resides in La Crescent, MN with his wife, Deb. They have one daughter, Jocelyn.
